- Inadequately labeled specimens
- Leaking specimens
- QNS (quantities not sufficient)
- Cotton or calcium alginate swabs
- Swabs in Amies medium
- Swabs with wooden shafts
- Specimens not meeting the Storage & Transport criteria upon receipt at laboratory
- Setup Schedule
Testing is performed on an as-needed basis.
