Charles M. Schulz — Sonoma County Airport announces non-stop service to three new destinations on Alaska Airlines
SANTA ROSA, CA | May 07, 2026
Charles M. Schulz – Sonoma County Airport today announced that Alaska Airlines will add three new non-stop routes from STS: Boise, Phoenix, and Salt Lake City.
All three flights will operate seasonally, with the first flight scheduled for Nov. 1. Alaska Airlines will service Phoenix with daily round-trip flights, while Boise and Salt Lake City will be serviced on a variable schedule, with daily flights during peak periods. All routes will utilize their 76-seat Embraer 175 aircraft.
"This is an incredible step by Alaska Airlines,” said Airport Manager Jon Stout. “Not only do these destinations expand our connectivity, but they reinforce Alaska’s commitment to local travel demands. These have historically been very popular routes, and I know they’ll be well received.”
“Alaska could not be happier to expand our route map from Santa Rosa,” said Kirsten Amrine, vice president of network planning and revenue management for Alaska. “We were the first carrier to bring commercial service to Charles M. Schultz-Sonoma County Airport, and we’re proud to remain the largest airline serving the community.”
“Sonoma County Airport and Alaska Air continue to deliver a top-notch experience – local convenience, customer friendly atmosphere, and seamless travel options.” said Supervisor David Rabbitt. “The addition of the new non-stop destinations only enhances the accessibility for both locals and visitors alike, eliminating the need to travel to the Bay Area airports saving both time and money.”
“Today’s announcement expands convenient travel options for our residents and strengthens our connections to key regional and national destinations,” said Supervisor James Gore. “These new routes make it easier for visitors to experience everything Sonoma County has to offer, while giving our residents more accessible, efficient options to travel for business and leisure.”
With the new routes, Alaska Airlines now services 12 non-stop destinations from the Charles M Schulz – Sonoma County Airport:
