The following fees can be paid using our payment portal:
- Quaratine
- Return to Owner, which may include unaltered animal fines, impound, board, vaccinations and microchip
- Commerical Kennel and Pet Fancier permits and reinspections, requires a completed application
- Owner surrender
- Dangerous Dog Registration
- Outside Vet Fees
- Veterinary Care Services Fees
Information to have handy when making a payment:
- Invoice or other document that shows amount owed
- Payers name and name on the bill if someone different is paying
- Credit card information
Please fill out all information as completely as possible so we can credit your account. Incomplete information or payments made without a completed application or contract may result in the funds being refunded or voided.
Credit Card Convenience Fees
In the past, Sonoma County Animal Services has absorbed thousands of dollars a year in credit card convenience fees on behalf of our customers. Starting November 25, 2025, Sonoma County Animal Services will no longer pay those fees. Instead, they will be passed onto customers making payments with credit or debit cards. When credit card convenience fees are paid by us, we are indirectly subsidizing payments made by credit and debit cards. This creates an inequity for customers paying by cash or check. The convenience fee charges are 2.9% of the amount charged plus $0.30.

You can also make a payment by phone at (707) 565-7100, or in lobby or by mail at 1247 Century Ct, Santa Rosa, CA 95403. If paying with check, please make them payable to Sonoma County Animal Services.
