Animal Welfare Fund: This fund supports the animals in our care by providing the with supplies, food, medical care and surgeries.

Love Me Fix Me Spay/Neuter Fund: This fund supports our Love Me Fix Me programs, which provides vital, low-cost spay/neuter services for pets in our community and contributes to reducing pet overpopulation. 

Large Animal Rescue Fund: This fund provides equipment, supplies and care for large animals during an emergency or disaster. This fund also supports the boarding and rehabilitative care of neglected horses through the Sonoma Change Program. 

Disaster/Emergency Response Fund: This fund provides items such as food, blankets, or veterinary supplies for pets displaced by a disaster or an emergency.

Please note: In the past, Sonoma County Animal Services (SCAS) has absorbed thousands of dollars a year in credit card convenience fees on behalf of our customers and donors. For example, a $100.00 donation generates a $3.30 convenience fee., meaning SCAS receives $96.70 of the $100.oo donation. Starting November 25, 2025, Sonoma County Animal Services will no longer pay those fees. Instead, they will be passed onto people making donations with credit or debit cards so that the full gift is received. The convenience fee charges are 2.9% of the amount charged + $0.30. More information about the State of California law that allows convience fee charges can be found here.
