June 2, 2026, Statewide Direct Primary Election
On January 5, Governor Gavin Newsom issued a proclamation ordering that a Statewide Direct Primary Election be held on June 2, 2026.
On May 4, all active, registered voters in Sonoma County will be sent ballots in the mail. However, voters can still vote in person if they prefer.
