A statewide primary election is scheduled to take place in California on June 2, 2026. Offices up for election in Sonoma County include:

• State Offices (Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Secretary of State, Controller, Treasurer, Attorney General, Insurance Commissioner, State Board of Equalization, State Senator, Member of the State Assembly)
• Judicial Offices (Judge of the Superior Court)
• School Offices (Superintendent of Public Instruction, County Superintendent of Schools)
• County Offices (Auditor-Controller-Treasurer-Tax Collector, and County Clerk-Recorder-Assessor, County Supervisor)
