Ballots begin going out in the mail today for November 3 General Election
Ballots for the November 3 General Election will begin going out in the mail today to all active, registered voters in Sonoma County, according to Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Evelyn Mendez. The ballots are expected to take between three and 10 days to arrive. Read full story

As the Registrar of Voters, I am monitoring developments in the courts that could impact legal challenges to United States Postal Service rules and how we serve our voters. Candidate nomination period for November 3 General Election extended to August 12 for certain offices
Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Evelyn Mendez announced that candidate nominations for the following offices up for election in November have been extended to close of business on Wednesday, Aug. 12 because one or more incumbents who were eligible to file did not do so by the Aug. 7 deadline.
