SANTA ROSA, CA | May 08, 2026
A cohort of 16 forward-thinking Petaluma businesses has successfully achieved or are working to achieve California Green Business Certification through a collaborative program led by local climate action nonprofit, Cool Petaluma. The initiative supports businesses in adopting environmentally responsible practices that reduce waste, conserve resources, and improve operational efficiency.
To recognize this achievement, community members are invited to attend a celebration on Tuesday, May 12.
What: Green Business Certification event
When: Tuesday, May 12 from 6 to 7:30 p.m.
Where: Crooked Goat Brewing, 110 Howard St., Petaluma
The event will bring together business owners, community leaders, and sustainability advocates to celebrate the newly certified businesses, share success stories, and encourage more companies to pursue green business certification.
The event is open to the public. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet the certified businesses, learn about the certification process, and explore how sustainability practices can benefit their own organizations.
