Overview
This page is meant to provide a summary of basic information for individuals interested in running for office in the November 4, 2025, Uniform District Election. Note that none of the offices listed below have filing fees, petitions in lieu, or nomination signatures. To find out more about a particular office, refer to the appropriate Office Requirements and Qualifications section later in this Guide (Community Services District Director, Public Utility District Director, Recreation and Park District Director, Water District Director).
The second-to-last column shows the estimated cost range for a candidate to publish a candidate statement (formally called a Statement of Qualifications, or SOQ) in the County Voter Information Guide (VIG). The last column indicates whether the candidate or the district is responsible for covering the SOQ cost. For more details about SOQs, see the Candidate Statements section later in this Guide.
