Congratulations to the 2026 five outstanding leaders who advocate for equity, diversity, and inclusion.
District 1: Ligia Booker, for her more than 40 years of dedicated service to Latino, immigrant, and farmworker families, including founding La Luz Center and creating lasting opportunities through education, food security, immigration support, and community empowerment in Sonoma Valley.
District 2: Caitlin Quinn, for her evolution as a community advocate and leader reflects a deep and growing dedication to creating positive change throughout our community.
District 3: Laura Doty, for her dedication to fairness and social justice, advocating since her teens through political campaigns, anti-war efforts, support for farmworkers, and leadership in feminist, LGBTQI+, and disability rights movements.
District 4: ALMAS LIBRES, for leading the Sonoma Sanctuary Coalition’s successful campaign for a Non-Collaboration with ICE Ordinance and promotes healing, leadership development, and civic engagement among Sonoma County’s Latinx, immigrant, and Indigenous communities.
District 5: Reynalda Cruz, for her unwavering dedication to uplifting Latino and Native American families through advocacy, cultural preservation, mentorship, and compassionate community service that strengthens and unites Sonoma County.
