SoCo CERT Trainings
CERT Basic Training in English and Spanish
A 24-hour, multi-day course covering disaster medical operations, fire suppression, light search and rescue, team organization, and disaster psychology. We offer in-person (classroom) and hybrid (online) training.
Refresher Training
A two-day course designed for previously certified members to refresh their skills and learn updated procedures.
Advanced Training
We offer continuing education for our SoCo CERT members by providing specialized trainings on topics like CPR/AED certification, traffic control, pet preparedness, and neighborhood organizing throughout the year.
All trainings are led by instructors with subject matter expertise including emergency management, community response, and public safety. Courses combine classroom instruction with hands-on practice.
