Sonoma County Board of Supervisors to hold workshop on turf fields

The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors will hold an athletic field turf workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 16 in the Board Chambers. The purpose of the workshop is to explore the benefits and drawbacks of artificial turf and natural turf athletic fields.

Sonoma County advances equitable electric vehicle charging plan

The County of Sonoma is seeking community feedback on the Sonoma County EV Master Plan survey, an interactive map that shows existing and potential electric vehicle charging locations. Residents, including both current EV drivers and those who do not yet own an EV, are invited to share input based on their own travel patterns, access to charging, and anticipated EV use to help shape where future charging stations may be most needed. The survey will remain open for feedback through the end of January 2026 and will inform the County’s Equitable Electric Vehicle Charging Plan.
