You may be eligible if:

  • You are pregnant or breastfeeding, or you have a child under age 5 (including foster children and fathers or grandparents raising children), and
  • You meet the income guidelines below

If you are unemployed:

  • We will use your current gross income, not what you made when you were working.
  • We do not consider the value of your assets or savings when determining income eligibility.

  1. A pregnant applicant’s unborn embryo(s) or fetus(es) may be counted as part of the household size if the applicant does not meet income eligibility requirements at the current household size. The addition of unborn embryo(s) or fetus(es), for purposes of calculating income eligibility, should be offered to the pregnant applicant as an option.
