Septage Vehicle Program

Sonoma County Environmental Health Septage Vehicle Program registers, permits, and regulates the activities of pumper trucks that are involved with the cleaning, transport, and disposal of septage waste. According to the CA H&SC Section 117400, anyone engaging in the cleaning of septic tanks, chemical toilets, cesspools or sewage seepage pits or the disposal of the cleanings shall hold a registration issued by the local health officer.
