Fish and Wildlife Commission Now Accepting Scholarship Applications
Scholarship Deadline April 30th – Sonoma County Students Encouraged to Apply

The Sonoma County Fish & Wildlife Commission is now accepting applications for its annual scholarship program. The Commission awards up to six scholarships to college students and college-bound high school seniors pursuing studies in natural sciences.
To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must be:
- A resident of Sonoma County
- Currently enrolled as a 2 year college student, 4 year college student, or graduating senior (entering college Fall 2026)
- Enrolled in, or plan to enroll in, a natural science-related field of study, including botany, zoology, environmental science, marine science, resource management, wildlife conservation, fisheries, biology, oceanography, or resource conservation and restoration
Application packets must be received via email or postmarked by April 3oth, and need to include the following:
- Completed Application Form
- School transcript
- Two letters of recommendation

Now in its 20th year, this program continues to invest in the next generation of environmental stewards. Scholarship recipients will be notified in early June.
