2026-2027 Health Benefits Annual Enrollment Coming Soon

The 2026–2027 Health Benefits Annual Enrollment period will take place March 23, 2026 through April 10, 2026.

Benefit elections made during Annual Enrollment will be effective June 1, 2026 through May 31, 2027.

Employee Assistance Program

EAP provides up to six sessions with a licensed counselor to provide guidance and support to help you and your family manage daily stresses, grievance, traumatic events and develop fulfilling relationships both personally and professionally. EAP is available to all County of Sonoma employees and their family members.

CareCounsel Health Advocacy

CareCounsel's Health Advocacy program is a special benefit sponsored by the County that can help you understand and effectively navigate your health benefits.

Mid-Year Enrollment Changes

Have a qualifying Mid-Year Event? Life and employment changes may affect your health benefit options. Find out if you have a qualifying event, per the IRC Section 125, that will allow you to make changes to your benefits.
