Volunteer Opportunities with UC Cooperative Extension: Master Gardeners and 4-H Youth Development
Become a Master Gardener!
(Adults)
Master Gardeners are UC trained garden experts who volunteer to serve their community. If you are committed to sharing and teaching information to others, the Master Gardeners of Sonoma County offer you the opportunity to learn and to use your knowledge of gardening to serve the community.
We welcome adults to volunteer with 4-H in a club, summer camp, or short-term project, where they play an important role in the development of young people, helping them to identify their spark and develop the skills and positive outcomes that lead to thriving.
We need volunteers to help run the science festival (annually first Saturday in March) to greet attendees, help exhibitors, take photographs, and setup/cleanup.
