Board of Supervisors to begin budget workshops to address shortfall
OnMonday, July 27 and Tuesday, July 28, 2020, the Sonoma County Board of Supervisorswill begin reviewing departmental budgets with the goal of making theadjustments needed to address a $45 million to $50 million shortfall due torevenue declines associated with the COVID-19 pandemic and economic downturn. The Healdsburg Transfer Station site operates under a Solid Waste Facility Permit issued by the LEA. The operator has filed an application for a Report of Facility Information (RFI) amendment with the LEA. The RFI describes the design and operation of the facility. Read full story
