Groundwater plays a critical role in supporting agriculture throughout Sonoma County, representing between 30% to 60% of groundwater use in Petaluma Valley, Santa Rosa Plain, and Sonoma Valley. Pesticide Use Report Form Changes for Production Agriculture
Due to recent changes to Title 3, California Code of Regulations (3 CCR) sections 6624 & 6626 concerning pesticide use reports (PURs) for production agriculture, start and end times are now required for all pesticide applications on an agricultural commodity. Read full story

Proposed Fee Changes Effective July 1, 2025 - Department of Agriculture, Weights & Measures.
The Sonoma County Board of Supervisors are conducting consolidated fee hearings on March 25, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. in the Board of Supervisors Chambers located at 575 Administration Drive in Santa Rosa.
