Community Advisory Council elects Alicia Roman as Chair and Evelyn Cheatham as Vice Chair and adopts bylaws

The first meeting of IOLERO’s Community Advisory Council (CAC) took place on December 5, 2017. At the meeting, the CAC members elected Alicia Roman as Chair and Evelyn Cheatham as Vice Chair, adopted bylaws, identified priority areas for the body, and set the following topics for the next meeting agenda:
- Sheriff’s Office policy regarding immigration status and deportations
- Outreach strategies to promote awareness of IOLERO’s programs and the CAC to community members
The next monthly meeting of the CAC will take place on January 2, 2017, from 5:30pm-7:30pm at the Permit and Resource Management Department (PRMD) Hearing Room, which is located at 2550 Ventura Ave., Santa Rosa CA. Community members are encouraged to attend and Spanish translation is provided.
