2026 Notice of Funding Opportunity CoC Program Competition and Sonoma County CoC Request for Proposals (RFP)

HUD has released the FY 2026 Continuum of Care (CoC) Program Competition, and the Sonoma County Homeless Coalition has issued its local Request for Proposals (RFP).

Approximately $4.9 million in renewal funding is available for applications. HUD has not yet announced FY 2026 CoC Bonus or Domestic Violence (DV) Bonus funding amounts. Once available, the Homeless Coalition will issue an addendum to the RFP with additional funding information and application instructions.

This year's competition includes significant changes, with HUD prioritizing Transitional Housing (TH) and Supportive Services Only (SSO) projects through new Tier 2 funding set-asides.

New Project Funding opportunities are expected for:

• Transitional Housing (TH)
• Supportive Services Only (SSO)
• Domestic Violence (DV) Bonus projects

Applications are due July 21, 2026, at 5:00 PM.
