Latest Amazon Scam

Forbes Magazine reports a new Amazon scam.  Emails are being sent indicating that items ordered in March of this year are subject to a recall and to click a link for a full refund.  The link is a phishing scam to access your Amazon account information.  The emails do not specify what the product was that was purchased . Always communicate to Amazon thru the official website and do not respond to emails purporting to be from Amazon. Read full story

Amazon Warns of New Scam Emails

Amazon recently advised its subscribers of a new round of scam emails purporting to be from Amazon either about delivery of an item that was not ordered or increase in the cost of a Prime Membership. The email contains a link to cancel the subscription due to the purported increase in cost which leads to a fake site requesting input of membership information that then allows scammers to access your Amazon account. Notice of Intent to Award: Opioid Settlement Funds NOFA

The evaluation panel carefully reviewed and analyzed the proposals received in response to the Opioid Settlement Funds Notice of Funding Availability (NOFA). Based upon that review and analysis, we are recommending to the Sonoma County Board of Supervisors that contracts be awarded to West County Health Centers, Buckelew Programs, Inc, and Center Point/Drug Abuse Alternatives Center.
